Wireless Projection Keyboard / Virtual keyboard

What is Wireless Projection Keyboard and How does it work?

Wireless Laser Projection Bluetooth Keyboard is a data input device which uses intelligent 3D electronic recognition technology. Due to it’s pocket sized design, it does’t take much space and it’s portability increase.

This Laser Projection Bluetooth Keyboard project’s a full sized keyboard on any flat opaque surface and using laser tracking technology to follow the location of the operator’s finger.
The maximum speed at which one can type is 400 characters per minute, which letting you type your words smoothly as flowing water at ease.

HOW VIRTUAL KEYBOARD WORKS
A virtual laser keyboard projects a safe form of visible laser onto flat opaque surface. A sensor or camera in the projector picks up finger movements and a software converts the coordinates to identify actions or characters.
Some devices project a invisible infrared beam in addition to the visible laser. The user’s finger keystroke on the virtual keyboard breaks the infrared beam and reflects light back to the projector. The reflected invisible beam passes through an infrared filter to the sensor or camera. The sensor photographs the angle of incoming infrared light . The sensor chip determines where infrared beam was broken and accordingly software determines the character to be generated.
design
Most of the virtual projection keyboards use a red diode laser as a light source and project a full size QWERTY keyboard. The keyboard is projected at a distance of 60 mm from the virtual keyboard unit and size of keyboard is usually 295 mm x 95 mm.
The keyboard unit works on lithium-ion batteries and offers at least 120 minutes of continuous typing. The projection unit sizes vary but normally is not bigger than 35 mm x 92 mm x 25 mm.
CONNECTIVITY
You can connect Projection Keyboard to the Computer or  Laptop through USB or Bluetooth.
There are different ways to connect Bluetooth projection keyboards, it depends on the device to which you are connecting i.e. phone or computer.
The USB keyboard is connected through a USB  port, which is available on every computer ,laptop or other devices.
